 Freelancing is a self-supporting and independent profession. It's an exclusive profession. It is a job that can be done independently and in my own time. But like other work, it has also some obstacles. If I want to get success I need to an expert at one niche and should increase my skill in this. As it is a challenging platform I need to develop an expert myself in a particular area by searching and gathering more and more knowledge from Google, Facebook, twitter, youtube, etc.

If I say about what the challenge I have to take then I can say that as it is a competitive field I have to try more and more to develop my skills and overcome the problems that may come to me.

 

Challenges :

1.    The biggest problem in freelancing is to look for reliable well-paying clients. Though I would get multiple job openings on platforms like fiberr.com,upwork.com etc., yet, it gets challenging to zero down on the right clients.

2.     Once I  have narrowed down on the freelance openings floating around, the second most significant challenge is to get noticed. For getting noticed, I need to design a compelling pitch to grab the employer’s attention. As a freelancer, I need to highlight my skills and talents to match the desired job specifications for each client.

3.    Though most clients pay the payments on time, yet some clients follow monthly salary even for freelancers. This gets a little inconvenient.

4.    When I will work with multiple clients, I have to manage the expected deliverables in the desired timelines for each of my clients. It is not so easy as it looks at the face of it.

 

Success ways :

1.    To get a new job or to get back the job of the previous clients marketing is the biggest key. Also, highlight your skills.

2.    Besides marketplace I also have to act and update on social media platforms. This helps to find out prospective clients.

3.    Then I have to make a website of my own where I have to give full details of expertise and interest will be highlighted.

4.    I can also keep a blog to represent me to others as competent and knowledgeable on my work.

5.    I should keep my portfolio updated.
